Course Information

The Diploma in Electrical Engineering is three-years programme and lateral Diploma in electrical engineering is two-years programme of study to prepare educators for Diploma in Electrical Engineering that students can pursue after completing class 10th and 10+2/ ITI. The course deals with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, magnetism, control systems, signal processing and telecommunication.

The eligibility for Diploma in Electrical Engineering courses is a minimum score of 35% marks in class 10.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering syllabus includes subjects such as Electrical Circuit Theory, Electrical machines, Electronic Devices and Circuits and Power System, etc.

The diploma programme designed to prepare educators to work as adaptive experts and transformative intellectuals. The programme is in response to the need for quality technical skill which can develop skill with a strong motivation and commitment to work in the sector as well as deep professional knowledge that empowers them to understand the curriculum and social context. After completing Diploma one may go for further advanced courses like B.Tech.. After completing the course, one may appear for tests like JE in SAIL, BHEL, DRDO, SSC and State-wise Electrical Engineering . Scoring valid marks in these tests will help for Government technical job.
